About The Position

Parts Authority is seeking a Shuttle Driver to transport items between stores along assigned routes and within scheduled timeframes. The role works as part of a shuttle team to ensure orders are complete, packed correctly, and delivered safely. The driver is expected to provide polite, prompt service and contribute to a positive experience for clients and team members.

The position also includes loading and unloading goods, checking orders, maintaining delivery records, following transportation laws and workplace safety practices, and completing vehicle maintenance checks when applicable. Drivers may also assist with other store or warehouse duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Current, valid driver’s license.
• Must be at least 21 years old and meet company insurance requirements.
• Current, valid automobile insurance with the applicant’s name on the policy.
• Ability to lift, move, push, and pull up to 50 pounds; Auto Body Parts Collision Drivers must be able to lift 75 pounds.
• Ability to tolerate prolonged sitting.

Nice To Haves

• Previous delivery driving experience is a plus.
• Flexible schedule and ability to work overtime as needed are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Load, transport, and deliver items between stores safely and on time.
• Review orders before and after delivery to confirm completeness and correct charges and to ensure team member satisfaction.
• Assist with loading and unloading items from vehicles.
• Follow assigned routes and time schedules.
• Abide by transportation laws and maintain a safe driving record.
• Prepare reports and other documents relating to deliveries.
• Use route navigation applications and local-area knowledge to deliver packages on time.
• Complete daily maintenance checks on the company delivery vehicle when applicable and notify the manager of any issues.
• Assist with other store or warehouse duties as assigned, including stocking and parts pulling.
• Maintain and promote workplace safety.
• Secure and transfer cash or other assets.
