Shuttle Driver - Transporter (On-Call)
About The Position
Midwestern Wheels, Inc., a licensee of Avis Budget Group, is seeking an On-Call Shuttle Driver - Transporter. This role involves moving vehicles within the facility, staging cleaned vehicles for customer pickup, organizing the lot, delivering vehicles to other locations, and shuttling team members. The driver will also communicate via radio or phone, report vehicle damage, and perform other assigned duties. Requirements
- Valid Driver's License with good driving record.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Ability to use an electronic tablet often.
Responsibilities
- Move cars from return areas to cleaning/servicing zones.
- Drive cleaned vehicles to the ready line for customer pickup.
- Relocate vehicles around the facility as directed.
- Deliver vehicles to other rental locations or vendors as needed.
- Ride with or follow other drivers to pick up or drop off vehicles.
- Communicate with team via radio or phone.
- Identify and report any vehicle damage.
- Perform additional tasks assigned by management.
