Shuttle Driver - Transporter (On-Call)
About The Position
Midwestern Wheels, Inc., a licensee of Avis Budget Group, is seeking an On-Call Shuttle Driver - Transporter. This role involves moving vehicles within the facility, staging them for customer pickup, relocating them as directed, and delivering them to other locations or vendors. The position also includes shuttling team members, communicating via radio or phone, reporting vehicle damage, and performing miscellaneous duties. Requirements
- Valid Driver's License with good driving record.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Ability to use an electronic tablet often.
Responsibilities
- Move cars from return areas to cleaning/servicing zones.
- Drive cleaned vehicles to the ready line for customer pickup.
- Relocate vehicles around the facility as directed.
- Deliver vehicles to other rental locations or vendors as needed.
- Ride with or follow other drivers to pick up or drop off vehicles.
- Communicate with team via radio or phone.
- Identify and report any vehicle damage.
- Perform additional tasks assigned by management.
