About The Position

We’re hiring immediately! Are you looking for flexible, on-call work and enjoy driving while supporting a great customer experience? If you’re dependable, safety-focused, and like knowing your work helps get vehicles where they’re needed most, join the Avis Budget Group team as an On-Call Inter-City Fleet Driver / Transporter. This role plays an important part in keeping our fleet moving so customers have access to vehicles when and where they need them.

Requirements

• Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record
• Flexibility to work on-call and be available for various shifts
• Comfort driving a variety of vehicles in all weather conditions
• Must be able to frequently enter and exit vehicles, sit for extended periods, get up and down from a seated position, and remain active throughout the shift
• Must be 18 years of age and legally authorized to work in the United States
• This position requires regular, on-site presence and cannot be performed remotely

Responsibilities

• Drive rental vehicles between rental locations, maintenance facilities, and other designated lots based on business needs.
• Transport vehicles safely and efficiently to ensure cars are positioned correctly to support customer demand and smooth daily operations.
• Follow all driving standards and safety procedures.
• Support fleet availability and the overall customer experience.
