About The Position

Olive Ave is growing rapidly and seeking a motivated Showroom Specialist to join our American Fork team. This role sits at the heart of our customer experience — it's where our brand comes to life in person and where we get to be part of one of the most meaningful purchases our customers will ever make. This position is pivotal in presenting our brand experience and guiding customers through such a significant purchasing moment. Your role will be integral to maintaining our brand’s voice and delivering the authentic Olive Ave experience in person for customers. This is a part-time role based in our showroom in American Fork, Utah, reporting directly to the Utah Store Manager. In this comprehensive position, your focus will be in-person and walk in consultations. We are looking for someone who has a foundational understanding of sales principles to foster trust and engagement, without direct selling. We care about the experience being memorable, smooth, and personal and are looking for someone to create this environment for our customers. Key qualities in this role include demonstrating patience and compassion, confidence in communication, and being people minded. We are committed to providing comprehensive training on Olive Ave’s processes, industry best practices, and company expectations, equipping you with the necessary training, tools, and time to be successful. Requirements

  • Proven experience in a client-facing role with a record of enhancing customers satisfaction.
  • Foundational understanding of sales process and strategies with the ability to apply this knowledge in a non-sale focused role.
  • Exhibits a self-starter mindset and functions effectively as a collaborator within a team as well as demonstrates exceptional communication skills, capable of engaging a diverse customer base with poise and confidence.
  • Analytical thinker with the ability to anticipate needs and proactively address potential issues.
  • Retains information with precision, coupled with a meticulous approach to details and the capacity for attentive listening.
  • Exhibits a resilient composure and performance excellence in high-pressure situations.
  • Demonstrates a growth-oriented mindset, perpetually pursuing opportunities for professional development and personal evolution.
  • Proficient in suite of Microsoft Office applications including but not limited to Outlook, Word, Excel and Teams.
  • A natural ability to forge genuine connections with customers, ensuring personalized and memorable interactions.

  • Experience and expertise in the jewelry industry, demonstrating a robust understanding of various jewelry types, materials and styles.
