Our Houston showroom is more than a retail location—it is a community resource where homeowners, contractors, businesses, and families can learn about backup power, emergency preparedness, and the products that help keep them running when it matters most. We are looking for a friendly, organized, and customer-focused Showroom Receptionist to be the welcoming face of our Houston location. The Showroom Receptionist serves as the first point of contact for customers visiting or contacting the Houston showroom. This role is responsible for creating a welcoming experience, assisting customers with general questions, directing inquiries to the appropriate team members, and helping maintain a professional and organized showroom environment. This position plays an important role in supporting both showroom operations and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate enjoys interacting with people, staying organized, multitasking, and contributing to a positive customer experience.
Requirements
- 1+ year of receptionist, administrative assistant, customer service, retail, or front desk experience.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Comfortable using computers, email, Microsoft Office, and web-based software.
- Strong attention to detail and follow-through.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in a showroom, dealership, retail, service center, or office environment.
- Bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred.
- Experience supporting customer events, local outreach, or community engagement activities.
Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome customers entering the showroom.
- Create a positive, professional, and friendly first impression for all visitors.
- Answer incoming phone calls and direct inquiries appropriately.
- Assist customers with general showroom information and appointment check-ins.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception area.
- Support showroom traffic flow and visitor management as needed.
- Schedule appointments and coordinate customer visits.
- Monitor and respond to general showroom email inquiries.
- Maintain accurate customer records and contact information.
- Assist with filing, scanning, data entry, and document organization.
- Support showroom staff with administrative and operational tasks.
