Requirements

  • 18 years of age or older.
  • Minimum of 2 years of management experience in a retail environment.
  • Must regularly work during high-traffic and peak selling periods, including weekends, holidays, and nights, to ensure you capitalize on demand, outperform goals, and maximize your earnings.
  • Able to effectively utilize technology for sales and customer support including demonstrating products, assisting customers and utilizing internal CRM systems to enhance customer experience and drive future outreach.
  • Must be able to travel, as required by the Company in its sole discretion, to local stores, third-party vendors and occasional meetings including our annual company event using various forms of transportation.
  • Demonstrate excellent judgment, integrity, and trustworthiness in managing financial transactions, handling sensitive business and customer data, customer privacy and ensuring the comfort and safety of persons and property.
  • Effective communication skills and ability to manage conflict in a reasonable, nonconfrontational manner.
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, up to 8 hours per shift.
  • Must be able to move objects (including medium to large furniture items up to 75 pounds) from a lower to a higher position or horizontally from position-to-position and be able to assemble furniture while working on the selling floor.
  • This position regularly requires the following actions: bending, twisting, kneeling, reaching, stooping, crawling, and climbing.

Responsibilities

  • Lead from the floor with energy and optimism, actively selling while setting expectations for the Lovesac selling process, maintaining a strong quote pipeline, and driving consistent quote reviews.
  • Own the full customer journey with curiosity and adaptability, setting the standard, using insights to guide performance, and holding the team accountable to convert, deliver exceptional service, and build lasting client relationships.
  • Model expert product knowledge while fostering a fun, engaging environment—coaching the team to deliver compelling brand tours, meaningful education, and memorable experiences while actively closing business yourself.
  • Drive long-term impact and sales growth by building genuine connections that fuel loyalty, repeat business, and brand advocacy, embracing change and opportunity along the way.
  • Run the business with confidence and agility, owning P&L performance through strong decision-making, disciplined execution, and a willingness to navigate ambiguity to deliver results, meeting and exceeding your goals and KPIs.
  • Set the vision and lead a high-performing team - building a people-first culture of growth, accountability, and big thinking.

  • Own talent outcomes end-to-end - recruiting, developing, coaching, and retaining top-performing Associates while building a strong bench through ongoing outreach, relationship-building, and community networking.

  • Lead day-to-day operations - scheduling, merchandising and inventory, technology, and other as needed - with a focus on supporting great customer conversations.
  • Bring brand standards, safety, and policies to life in a way that feels approachable and customer centric, and take good care of our team and our business.
  • Staying curious and flexible, you will take on additional priorities and special projects to keep the store, team, and brand continuing to grow.
