About The Position

Synergy Builders is seeking a design-minded professional for a Showroom Coordinator position. This role is designed as an entry point into a structured, professional design-build firm with a clear career path towards becoming a Staff Designer. The position involves creating exceptional first impressions, supporting the design and sales process, owning the showroom experience, and growing into a designer role by learning directly from experienced professionals.

Requirements

Degree in Interior Design
Passion for residential remodeling and design-build
Strong communication skills and confidence with clients
Organized, detail-oriented, and proactive
Positive, team-first attitude
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Nice To Haves

Experience with Chief Architect software
Experience in residential remodeling or design-build environments
Familiarity with Buildertrend or similar software
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings
Have a passion for marketing

Responsibilities

Be the first point of contact for clients visiting the showroom or reaching out.
Deliver a welcoming, polished, and professional experience.
Help guide clients through their first interactions with our process.
Assist with client selections and material choices (tile, cabinetry, fixtures, etc.).
Help prepare for showroom tours and client meetings.
Maintain accurate client notes and communication.
Keep the showroom clean, organized, and visually inspiring.
Manage samples, displays, and product materials.
Stay up to date on design trends and new products.
Work with vendors to ensure our offerings stay fresh and competitive.
Learn directly from experienced designers and project developers.
Gradually take on more responsibility in client selections.
Build real-world design knowledge and confidence.
Follow a clear path toward becoming a Staff Designer.
