Bathroom Installer
About The Position
West Shore Home is hiring a Shower and Bath Installer to perform safe and effective bathroom installations according to company standard operating procedures and personal protective equipment protocols while providing customers with a 5-star experience. The role is based in Rochester, New York, and follows a Monday-through-Friday schedule with a 6:30 AM start. Installers arrive at the warehouse to load materials and trucks, travel to customers’ homes, remove existing bath or shower fixtures, install new tubs or pans and wall surrounds, and update plumbing when needed. They clean the work area, collect paperwork and payment, and return to the warehouse. The approximate pay is $20–$22 per hour; final compensation may vary based on factors including background, knowledge, skills, abilities, and geographic location.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in carpentry, remodeling, plumbing, or construction, or willingness to learn.
- Basic knowledge of hand tools and power tools.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- A valid smartphone or smart device to access company-required systems using two-factor authentication.
Responsibilities
- Arrive at the warehouse by 6:30 AM to load materials and trucks.
- Travel to customers’ homes, greet customers, and establish rapport.
- Remove existing bath or shower fixtures and install new tubs or pans and wall surrounds.
- Update plumbing when needed.
- Clean up thoroughly and show care for the customer’s home.
- Collect paperwork and payment, then return to the warehouse.
- Follow company standard operating procedures and personal protective equipment protocols.
