About The Position

We're looking for a hands-on Show Manager to oversee the daily operations of a nationally touring live entertainment attraction that travels across the United States year-round. This is a unique opportunity to combine leadership, hospitality, event operations, and travel while creating unforgettable experiences for thousands of guests each week.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of leadership experience in operations, hospitality, attractions, entertainment, restaurants, retail, or venue management.
  • Proven ability to lead teams in fast-paced, customer-facing environments.
  • Strong coaching, conflict resolution, and employee accountability skills.
  • Comfortable making decisions in a live operational setting.
  • Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
  • Must be comfortable leading from the floor rather than behind a desk.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with scheduling, payroll systems, and Microsoft Excel is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the day-to-day operations of a live touring event.
  • Manage, coach, and develop a team of approximately 20 employees.
  • Maintain a strong presence on the show floor throughout each event.
  • Ensure an outstanding guest experience from opening through closing.
  • Conduct pre-shift meetings and motivate the team for daily success.
  • Hold employees accountable while fostering a positive team culture.
  • Resolve guest concerns and operational issues in real time.
  • Coordinate admissions, attractions, retail, inflatables, and overall venue operations.
  • Assist with event setup (load-in) and teardown (load-out).
  • Complete payroll approvals and daily operational reporting.
  • Oversee company assets, equipment, and safety compliance.
  • Partner closely with the Operations Manager to ensure seamless execution.
