About The Position
PacifiCorp is seeking a customer-centric candidate to operate heavy equipment at Bridger Coal Company in Point of Rocks, Wyoming. This position is represented by Local Union IBB S1978. The operator safely and efficiently loads haul trucks with material, inspects equipment, and records inspection and daily loading information. Work must comply with applicable federal and state regulations and company policies while supporting the mine’s safety, cost, productivity, and environmental goals.
Requirements
- A minimum of three years of surface mining experience.
Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently operate heavy equipment to load haul trucks with material.
- Inspect equipment before operating and ensure it is in safe, operable condition.
- Accurately log equipment inspection information and daily loading information, including work area and loads.
- Perform work in compliance with federal and state regulatory requirements and company policies.
- Support the mine in meeting its budgeted safety, cost, productivity, and environmental requirements.
