About The Position

Short Truck/Tankwagon Drivers safely and effectively deliver fuel and lubricant products to and from specified destinations, including plants, offices, and industrial yards. They maintain equipment in a clean, organized, and safe working condition and comply with applicable state, federal, and DOT requirements. The role includes lifting and carrying long hoses to dispense products at customer sites, maintaining driver logs, inspecting trucks and supplies, securing loads, and checking tank inventory and deliveries. Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Class A or B CDL with hazmat and tanker endorsements.
• At least 2 years of professional driving experience.
• Basic computer skills, including use of electronic logs, employee time reporting, and email.

Responsibilities

• Deliver fuel and lubricant products to and from specified destinations, such as plants, offices, and industrial yards.
• Maintain equipment in clean, organized, and safe working condition.
• Lift and carry long hoses for dispensing product at customer sites.
• Maintain driver logs in accordance with state and federal guidelines and comply with DOT regulations.
• Inspect truck equipment and supplies.
• Perform pre-trip, post-trip, and in-transit inspections.
• Ensure loads are locked, braced, and secured.
• Inspect tank inventory and check tanks to ensure proper delivery.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
