About The Position

Short Truck/Tankwagon Drivers support Colonial Transportation Solutions, Inc. by safely and effectively delivering products and services to customers. They deliver fuel and lubricant products to and from locations such as plants, offices, and industrial yards, and maintain equipment in clean, organized, and safe working condition. The work includes handling long dispensing hoses, maintaining required driver logs, inspecting trucks and tanks, and ensuring loads are secured. Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Class A or B CDL with hazmat and tanker endorsements.
At least 2 years of professional driving experience.
Basic computer skills, including use of electronic logs, employee time reporting, and email.
Eligibility to work in the United States.
Regularly sit, stand, and walk; may occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

Deliver fuel and lubricant products to and from specified destinations, including plants, offices, and industrial yards.
Keep equipment clean, organized, and in safe working condition.
Lift and carry long hoses to dispense product at customer sites.
Maintain driver logs in accordance with state and federal guidelines and comply with DOT regulations.
Inspect truck equipment and supplies.
Perform pre-trip, post-trip, and in-transit inspections.
Ensure loads are locked, braced, and secured.
Inspect tank inventory and check tanks to ensure proper delivery.
Perform other duties as assigned.
