About The Position

Short Truck/Tankwagon Drivers support Colonial Transportation Solutions, Inc. by safely and effectively delivering fuel and lubricant products to customers and specified destinations, including plants, offices, and industrial yards. The role includes maintaining equipment, inspecting trucks and tanks, securing loads, and keeping required driver logs in accordance with state, federal, and DOT guidelines. The work environment includes exposure to all weather conditions.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Class A or B CDL with hazmat and tanker endorsements.
• At least 2 years of professional driving experience.
• Basic computer skills, including the ability to understand and use electronic logs, employee time reporting, and email.
• Eligibility to work in the United States.
• Ability to sit, stand, and walk regularly and occasionally lift and/or move 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Deliver fuel and lubricant products to and from specified destinations, such as plants, offices, and industrial yards.
• Maintain equipment in clean, organized, and safe working condition.
• Lift and carry long hoses to dispense product at customer sites.
• Maintain drivers logs in accordance with state and federal guidelines and comply with DOT regulations.
• Inspect truck equipment and supplies.
• Perform pre-trip, post-trip, and in-transit inspections.
• Ensure loads are locked, braced, and secured.
• Inspect tank inventory and check tanks to ensure proper delivery.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
