About The Position

Entry-level position providing general shop floor support, pulling parts from the stockroom, organizing materials, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment. Assists higher-level technicians with basic tasks.

Requirements

• Ability to read and interpret basic job travelers and pick lists.
• Must be able to utilize small hand tools and operate material handling equipment (sit-down/stand-up forklifts, pallet jacks, banding equipment) safely.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, organize materials, and communicate effectively.
• Must be computer literate for basic data entry.
• OSHA approved forklift operator’s license when required.

Nice To Haves

• Prior related experience preferred but not required

Responsibilities

• Pull parts and materials from the stockroom using pick lists.
• Assist with basic inventory tasks (e.g., directed cycle counts).
• Band outside wood.
• Organize and move used equipment, fiberglass floats, and electrical cable.
• Organize and maintain shop floor and buildings for cleanliness and safety.
• Safely operate material handling equipment (sit-down/stand-up forklifts, pallet jacks, banding equipment) for basic movement tasks under supervision.
• Notify supervisor of any discrepancies, material shortages, or concerns.
• Maintain a safe and clean work area.
• Any other duties as assigned.
