About The Position
Under direct supervision from a Lead Technician, Maintenance Supervisor, or Maintenance Manager, a Maintenance Technician C performs preventive maintenance on diesel and non-diesel equipment and trucks. This role requires basic knowledge of vehicle systems to conduct routine maintenance and repair. The position offers the opportunity to work on a single fleet with state-of-the-art equipment, supporting drivers and servicing technically advanced vehicles. Requirements
- Basic knowledge of a vehicle's mechanical and electrical systems to perform routine maintenance and repair.
Nice To Haves
- Completion of a certified diesel maintenance program
- Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Certification T8 PM
- Valid Driver’s License
Responsibilities
- Maintain a basic knowledge of a vehicle's mechanical and electrical systems to perform basic preventive maintenance and some repair functions.
- Perform vehicle PM inspections and adjustments.
- Perform oil changes and fluids replenishment.
- Execute adjustments and light repairs, including tire changes.
- Conduct basic electrical work, such as light changes.
- Conduct visual inspections to identify potential equipment issues and identify the sources of malfunctions using a variety of tools.
- Complete applicable Company training programs.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned or apparent.
