Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience managing a large rebar or similar facility is preferred.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• High school diploma or GED required.

Nice To Haves

• Construction Superintendent experience is a plus.
• Bilingual Spanish is preferred.
• Bachelor's degree is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise production operators as they shear, bend, and load rebar to customer specifications.
• Manage annual reviews and coach and counsel shop employees on employee relations issues and development opportunities.
• Set production requirements based on customer needs and ensure productive material flow throughout the shop.
• Ensure stock materials received from the loader are inspected for uniformity and tagged with inventory tags, SAP tags, and partial tags on open bundles.
• Direct and ensure completion of production reports for each shift.
• Direct interview processes and coordinate training for new shop employees.
• Partner with the Safety Manager to direct safety meetings and ensure ongoing safety training for all shop employees.
