SoCal JCB - Shop Service Technician
About The Position
SoCal JCB is a highly successful, fast-growing business that prides itself on customer service and invests in its workforce, offering a competitive compensation and benefit program. As an authorized dealer for JCB construction equipment, SoCal JCB is seeking a Shop Service Technician. This position reports to the Service Manager and is responsible for repairing and maintaining various types of aerial and earth moving equipment. The role involves completing reports, providing diagnostic analysis, performing repairs and preventative maintenance, conducting on-site system audits, and adhering to all safety and training protocols.
Requirements
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- 1-3 years installing and maintaining machines
- Ability to travel
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds
- Computer skills needed perform diagnostics, complete reports, etc
Nice To Haves
- Proficient in Microsoft Office software
- Comfortable in an in-person office environment
- Technical competence is a plus
- Must be customer service oriented, flexible, and have a high energy level
- Must have excellent follow-through skills
- Must have a professional, polished, and sophisticated demeanor and be comfortable in most social settings
- Must be open to domestic and international travel
- Desire and proven ability to learn and grow
Responsibilities
- Complete and turn in reports that capture all time and work completed
- Provide diagnostic analysis, repair, or preventative maintenance for customer machines
- Complete on-site system audits and evaluations
- Practice and adhere to all safety and training
