About The Position

ChampionX, now part of SLB, is hiring Shop Operators for its Broken Arrow, Oklahoma location. Operators assemble and repair products used in oil and gas production, including pumps, motors, gas separators, and protectors. Work follows defined instructions and safety procedures, primarily in a team environment and under limited supervision. The position contributes to a clean, safe workplace and the department’s continuous improvement efforts. This is a safety-sensitive role that may be subject to employer or customer drug testing. Pre-employment requirements include a drug screen and background check. Immigration sponsorship is not offered. First shift generally starts at 5:00 a.m.; shifts may last 8, 10, or 12 hours depending on workload, with weekend overtime as needed. Work takes place primarily in a heated and air-conditioned manufacturing environment.

Requirements

Read, write, and speak English fluently.
Have at least 6 months of experience in a manufacturing environment.
Have working knowledge of hand tools, power tools, forklifts, and/or overhead cranes.
Be willing to work overtime and Saturdays as required.
Complete a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
Meet the physical demands of medium work, including exerting up to 50 pounds occasionally, up to 20 pounds frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds constantly.
Use required personal protective equipment, including safety shoes and safety glasses.
Have visual and hearing acuity sufficient for the role.

Responsibilities

Assemble and repair products such as pumps, motors, gas separators, and protectors used in the oil and gas capturing process.
Follow safety rules, procedures, and defined work instructions; notify a supervisor of manufacturing issues that may affect safety.
Use hand and power tools to assemble components.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Contribute to the department’s continuous improvement culture.
Work under limited supervision, usually within a team environment.
Perform other duties as required.
