About The Position

Redi Services, LLC is seeking a Shop Mechanic for a full-time, long-term opportunity at its Carlin, Nevada location in the mining industry. The mechanic will service light- and heavy-duty trucks and attached equipment, including troubleshooting and diagnosing wiring issues, working on hydraulics and brakes, and performing engine and transmission repairs and rebuilds. The role also involves maintaining excellent records for all vehicles and working effectively with teammates. Applicants must have their own tools or be willing to participate in the company’s tool allowance program. Benefits begin on the first of the month after 60 days of eligible employment. Starting pay is $38.00 per hour, depending on experience.

Requirements

Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose wiring issues.
Experience or ability to work on hydraulics and brakes and perform engine and transmission repairs and rebuilds for light- and heavy-duty trucks and attached equipment.
Excellent time management skills.
Ability to work with teammates.
Must have personal tools or be willing to participate in the tool allowance program.
Must be willing and able to pass initial and periodic drug screens and a background check upon hire.

Nice To Haves

MSHA Surface Certification preferred but not required.
Class A CDL preferred but not required.
