About The Position
The Shop Mechanic is responsible for maintaining and repairing diesel trucks, ranging in size from tractors/trailers to medium duty trucks, as well as maintaining and repairing the mounted contractor's equipment contained on vehicles. This role also involves documenting preventive maintenance efforts as required to achieve compliance with D.O.T. regulations.
Requirements
- Valid Driver's License required(CDL Preferred), or willing to obtain a CDL B with Air Brake within 90 days.
- 5 years of experience with BIT inspections
- Working knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems
- Ability to pass safety training exams and the background check required
- Prioritize safety, is conscientious, dependable and quality-minded.
