About The Position

A Shop Mechanic performs advanced inspection, repair, and maintenance of vehicles and construction equipment. The role leads electrical, electronic, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic maintenance and repair work. Success requires working independently and collaboratively, communicating effectively, paying close attention to detail, and solving problems.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience working on pickup trucks (Ford preferred), heavy trucks, construction or utility-related equipment, and trailers.
• Welding experience.
• Aerial experience.
• Experience with DOT inspections.
• Basic computer proficiency.
• Ability to provide own basic hand tools.
• A valid driver's license for the types of vehicles driven and an acceptable driving record.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, communicate effectively, work with attention to detail, and solve problems.

Nice To Haves

• Completion of a Diesel Mechanic Program and/or Master ASE Credits.
• CDL Class A and a valid Federal Medical Card.
