About The Position

Take 5 Oil Change is hiring a Shop Manager to lead an oil change shop. Requirements

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Ability to maneuver in and out of a shallow, 3-foot-deep pit to position safely under cars.
Ability to walk, stand, bend, stoop, and twist for extended periods and perform activities involving holding, grasping, pulling, and turning.
Willingness to work in hot or cold weather conditions if necessary.
Reliable transportation to and from the shop.
Willingness to work early hours and up to 55 hours per week on occasion.
Basic computer operating skills.

Nice To Haves

Shop management or other leadership experience is valued but not required.
Experience in oil change shops, restaurants, retail, mechanics, landscaping, or other skilled trades may be relevant.

Responsibilities

Recruit, interview, onboard, and train new crew members.
Create crew schedules and submit payroll.
Control inventory, including conducting End of Period and End of Year inventory.
Place product orders and physically restock inventory as necessary.
Understand shop financials, drive results, and use the budget wisely.
Conduct quarterly employee evaluations.
Support crew members with duties such as changing oil and performing other automotive services.
Drain motor oil, change oil filters, and perform other automotive services as necessary.
Provide excellent customer service.
Ensure the team executes Take 5 standards for oil changes, wiper blade and air filter replacement, tire inflation, and other light maintenance services.
