About The Position

This growing LOCAL CT Company is looking for an experienced Shop Manager to assist in the oversight of the daily operations of our Millwork Manufacturing Facility. The Shop Manager's responsibilities include monitoring staff performance and ensuring all production orders are completed in a timely manner. The Shop Manager will also perform frequent inspections to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.

Requirements

• Sound knowledge of industry-specific factory equipment
• Outstanding time management skills & ability to multitask
• Strong management, leadership & excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Managerial or Supervisory experience within a woodworking or millwork mfg factory

Responsibilities

• Regularly inspect finished products to determine whether they meet established quality standards
• Analyze production data to identify and resolve any production issues
• General management and supervision of factory floor personnel
• Ability to coordinate product flow through multiple departments
• Motivate factory workers to continually achieve factory targets
• Ensure that factory machinery is in good working order
• Ensure Health and Safety Compliance Requirements
