About The Position

Take 5 Oil Change is hiring a Shop Manager to lead a shop location and its crew. Experience is valued but not required; paid training is provided on managing the location, changing oil, replacing wiper blades and air filters, filling tires, and performing other light maintenance services. Within less than 60 days, the manager will be accountable for the team's execution of Take 5 standards. The role includes a salary range of $43,800–$72,200 annually, with base pay varying by location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Supplemental pay may include commissions or bonuses.

Requirements

Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
Able to maneuver in and out of a shallow, 3-foot-deep pit to position safely under cars.
Able to walk, stand, bend, stoop, twist, and perform activities involving holding, grasping, pulling, and turning for extended periods.
Willing to work in hot or cold weather conditions if necessary.
Reliable transportation to and from the shop.
Willing to work early hours and up to 55 hours per week on occasion.
Basic computer operating skills.

Responsibilities

Recruit, interview, onboard, and train new crew members.
Create crew schedules and submit payroll.
Control inventory, including conducting End of Period and End of Year inventory.
Place product orders and physically restock inventory as needed.
Understand the shop's financials, drive results, and use the budget wisely.
Conduct quarterly employee evaluations.
Support crew members with duties such as changing oil and performing other auto services.
Drain motor oil, change oil filters, and perform other auto services as necessary.
Provide excellent customer service.
