About The Position
Take 5 Oil Change is hiring full-time crew members and lube technicians. No prior experience is required; paid training is provided. Team members learn to change oil, replace wiper blades and air filters, fill tires with air, and perform other light maintenance services. The role offers pay up to $15 per hour, including base pay and commissions, with weekly bonuses and opportunities to advance into leadership roles.
Requirements
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Must be able to maneuver in and out of a shallow, 3-foot-deep pit to position safely under cars.
- Must be able to walk, stand, bend, stoop, and twist for extended periods, and perform activities involving holding, grasping, pulling, and turning.
- Must be willing to work in hot or cold weather conditions when necessary.
- Must have reliable transportation to and from the shop.
- Must be over 18 years old, except applicants over 16 may qualify in Arizona, Idaho, Kansas, New Mexico, South Carolina, South Dakota, Texas, and Wyoming.
- Must be willing to learn, work hard, and bring a positive attitude.
Responsibilities
- Drain motor oil and change oil filters.
- Wash windshields and adjust tire pressure.
- Inspect and top off fluids.
- Perform coolant exchanges.
- Restock and maintain inventory levels on the floor.
- Maintain a clean work environment.
- Provide excellent customer service.
