We are seeking a highly motivated, organized, and experienced Salon/Barbershop Manager to lead and support our talented team of stylists, barbers, and front-desk staff at our St. Petersburg, FL location. The ideal candidate will be a strong leader with a background in the beauty or grooming industry, passionate about customer service, team development, and business growth.

Requirements

2+ years of salon/barbershop management or leadership experience preferred
Strong leadership and team building skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire others
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with a focus on building rapport with clients and team members
Strong strategic thinking, organizational and time-management abilities
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Knowledge of salon/barbershop software systems is a plus (e.g., Vagaro , Booker, Square)
Licensed cosmetologist or barber (preferred but not required depending on duties)
Sales and marketing experience is a bonus
Passionate about the beauty/grooming industry and staying current with trends

Responsibilities

Oversee daily operations of the barber shop, ensuring smooth workflow and customer satisfaction
Manage and lead team , including scheduling, conflict resolution, and performance evaluations
Uphold Floyd's 99 Barbershop standards
Recruit, hire, and train new team members
Monitor inventory and order supplies as needed
Ensure cleanliness, safety, and compliance with health regulations
Handle client concerns and feedback professionally
Track sales, manage budgets, and implement strategies to increase revenue
Plan and promote marketing campaigns, special offers , and events
Maintain a positive and motivating work environment
Work closely with the owner & operations manager on business goals and improvements
