About The Position

Doodie Calls is a portable sanitation company that has grown into a 4-state operation since 2018, serving construction sites, homes, special events, and disaster relief. They are the official partner of the Miami Dolphins, Hard Rock Stadium, and Florida State Athletics. The Planning team is responsible for building and optimizing the daily routes for drivers. Requirements

2+ years in routing, dispatch or logistics, or a related college degree
Strong analytical skills, with experience pulling and interpreting performance metrics
Knowledge of the geography in our service areas, especially [Florida and Georgia]
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Teams, Outlook, Excel, Word)
Excellent communication skills and comfort working across departments
A positive attitude and a drive to grow with the company

ServiceCore or other routing software experience a plus

Responsibilities

Build and optimize driver routes in ServiceCore for on-time, efficient service
Handle emergency and same-day requests, and adjust routes as needs change
Match the right driver, truck and equipment to each job
Learn each site's and customer's specific needs so service goes smoothly
Pull and analyze route timing and efficiency metrics, and share them in weekly team meetings
Work with customer service to resolve complaints in real time
Close out each day's routing work by the end of the day, with nothing carried over
