About The Position

Responsible for coordinating activities of assemblers, mechanics, and testing in the shop to ensure conformance to Company standards and meet production specifications and requirements. This position operates in an industrial/field environment. The role requires working in and around manufacturing equipment, heavy machinery, and potentially hazardous materials.

Requirements

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and education and experience.
• Working knowledge of API Standards and specific Sections experience.
• Intermediate Computer Skills
• Advanced Language Skills
• Intermediate Mathematical Skills
• Intermediate Reasoning Ability.
• Wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
• Follow all safety protocols and procedures
• Participate in regular safety training
• Complete required safety certifications
• Comply with all environmental regulations

Responsibilities

• Practice safe work habits and comply with all quality, safety, health and environmental policies, procedures, programs and regulations.
• Manage local safety program within established guidelines, complete and submit monthly safety reporting and conduct safety meetings.
• Ensure all equipment is in working order and serviced as required and maintain good housekeeping in the branch facility.
• Diagnose problems and recommend or implement appropriate solutions.
• Inspects products to verify conformance to specifications.
• Studies production schedules and estimates worker hour requirements for completion of job assignment.
• Interprets Company policies to workers and enforces safety regulations.
• Interprets specifications and job orders to workers, and assigns duties.
• Establishes or adjusts work procedures to meet production schedules.
• Recommends measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality of product.
• Suggests changes in working conditions and use of equipment to increase efficiency of shop, department, and work crew.
• Analyzes and resolves work problems, or assists workers in solving work problems.
• Initiates or suggests plans to motivate workers to achieve work goals.
• Maintains time of shop employees.
• Confers with other supervisors to coordinate activities of individual departments.
• Performs activities of workers supervised.
• Special projects or assignments as directed by management.
