About The Position

The Shop Lead supports the team and upholds the Dutch Bros vision by demonstrating the core values of Speed, Quality, and Service. The role serves as a source of information and a voice for shop employees within the management circle, while assisting the Shop Manager with operational needs and inventory management. The Shop Lead models the expectations of Broista and Shift Lead roles, helps ensure the crew and shop have what they need to provide a positive customer experience, and supports crew development. The position requires availability to work a minimum of 37 hours per week on a flexible, changing schedule that may include early mornings, evenings, and weekends. Compensation is $13.75 plus tips. Qualifying candidates may be eligible for relocation compensation when accepting a job offer that requires a move; the amount varies based on factors including relocation distance.

Requirements

• Must have completed a minimum of 10 shifts as a Dutch Bros Shift Lead.
• Must have had no disciplinary action in the past 90 days; disciplinary action is defined as a coaching conversation resulting in formal documentation with signatures.
• Must desire to become a Dutch Bros Operator.
• Must obtain and maintain a Food Handler Permit or Certification as required by state or local regulations.
• Must complete, pass, and maintain mandatory certificates, training, and knowledge tests under Dutch Bros standards and applicable company policies and federal, state, and local regulations.
• Must pass a standard background check and MVR check.
• Must have a valid driver's license and proof of insurance; the role may require driving when necessary.
• Must be available to work at least 37 hours per week and work a flexible schedule that may include early mornings, evenings, and weekends.
• Must demonstrate the Broista and Shift Lead Levels of Leadership expectations, as well as the Shop Lead expectations of consistency, detail orientation, and being hungry, humble, and smart.

Responsibilities

• Model and meet all expectations of the Broista and Shift Lead roles.
• Ensure the crew and shop have what they need to provide a positive experience to every customer.
• Manage inventory and ensure the shop maintains appropriate inventory levels to serve customers.
• Assist the Shop Manager in developing the crew.
• Assist the Shop Manager with flow checks.
• Be a good teammate and role model.
• Attend mandatory meetings, know available resources, and follow company policies and procedures in the Field Guides and Employee Handbook.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
