About The Position

At Foundry Commercial Kitchens, we’re leaders in the foodservice industry, delivering turnkey commercial kitchen solutions from concept through completion. We partner with restaurants, hotels, universities, hospitals, and more, offering in-house design, project management, fabrication, and installation across North America. Our stainless fabrication division produces high-quality fixtures exclusively for the foodservice sector. As a locally owned and operated business, Foundry also features an innovative showroom and test kitchen, extensive equipment inventory, white-glove delivery, and a skilled installation team. We’re a high-performing, hands-on team that takes pride in our work—and we’re looking for someone who’s ready to jump in and grow with us. As a Shop Helper, you’ll support the day-to-day operations of our stainless-steel fabrication shop. This is an entry-level position with a clear pathway into the sheet metal trade, including potential pre-apprenticeship opportunities. You’ll bring a strong work ethic, a positive attitude, and a willingness to learn.

Requirements

Valid Class 5 BC Driver’s Licence with a clean driving abstract

Nice To Haves

Forklift experience is an asset
Previous experience in a fabrication shop or similar environment is an asset
Interest in pursuing a career in the sheet metal trade is strongly valued

Responsibilities

Support daily shop operations to ensure efficiency and workflow
Prepare and pack shipments; load delivery trucks; stage orders for pickup
Assist with deliveries, including lifting and placing equipment on-site
Operate company vehicles (typically 3-ton trucks or F150/pickups) for deliveries
Organize inventory and complete regular counts
Assist with general facility maintenance as needed
