About The Position

At Malin, the Shop Helper is crucial for maintaining operational order and supporting the team. This role involves assisting with shop operations, ensuring building upkeep and maintenance, and helping with events. The ideal candidate will be a proactive self-starter, capable of identifying tasks that need to be done and anticipating potential issues.

Requirements

• One or more years of experience in grounds and building maintenance/upkeep
• High school graduate or equivalent
• Self-starter with the ability to work independently in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
• Hardworking and energetic
• Excellent customer service skills
• Excellent time-management skills
• Solid written and documentation skills
• Solid verbal communication skills
• Coachable and teamwork spirit
• Ability to read and interpret customer communications and common documents
• Ability to respond to inquiries or complaints from internal customers

Responsibilities

• General maintenance and upkeep of Malin ground and various buildings on the property.
• Internal/external cleaning of building.
• Assist with shop operations upkeep.
• Help with event set-up and breakdown.
• Keep office areas, buildings and warehouse areas organized and clean.
• Stripping; waxing; buffing of floors.
