About The Position

Frazer builds emergency medical vehicles and mobile healthcare units. We are looking for a Shop Helper to join our Fabrication team and support production wherever the work is needed, from smoothing metal surfaces to sealing joints to installing flooring and graphics on the box module. This is a hands-on, entry-level role for someone who wants to learn real manufacturing skills and take pride in doing careful work.

Requirements

Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team
Comfortable using hand tools, power tools, and basic measuring instruments
Able to follow detailed work instructions and specifications accurately
Willingness to learn and rotate across different production tasks as needed

Nice To Haves

Prior experience with air tools and measuring instruments
A track record of holding yourself accountable and following procedures
Habit of double-checking your own work before calling it done

Responsibilities

Deburrs and sands metal parts to meet finish specifications
Applies chemical sealant to joints and checks coverage before parts move forward
Measures and cuts vinyl flooring for installation into box modules
Installs conspicuity graphics and labels according to build specifications
Inspects own completed work using gauges and measuring instruments
Shifts to a different work center midday to cover a production gap
Flags a part quality issue to the CNC machinist before it moves further down the line
