About The Position

The Shop Hand will be part of a team that assist with maintenance, repairs, and overall upkeep of vehicles and equipment.

Experience working in a warehouse or shop environment.
Forklift operation experience required.
Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.
Ability to work independently and think outside the box to solve problems.
Motivated and eager to take on new challenges.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and efficient work environment.
Basic knowledge of inventory and supply management.

Assist with general shop duties, including cleaning, organizing, and maintaining a safe and efficient workspace.
Support inventory management by tracking, stocking, and organizing supplies, tools, and equipment.
Assist in supply management, ensuring necessary parts and materials are readily available for technicians.
Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment to move materials and tools as needed.
Load and unload trucks, ensuring proper handling and storage of equipment and supplies.
Perform basic mechanical tasks, including assisting with equipment maintenance and minor repairs.
Help maintain accurate records of tools, equipment, and parts inventory.
Follow safety protocols and assist in safety management to ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.
Think critically and problem-solve to support shop operations and efficiency.
Work closely with mechanics and technicians to support daily workflow and operations.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
