About The Position
Volt is immediately hiring for Shop Helper in Fresno, CA. We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Shop Helper to support daily warehouse and fabrication operations in Fresno, CA. The ideal candidate will be safety-conscious, mechanically inclined, and willing to assist in a variety of production and shop functions.
Requirements
- Previous warehouse experience required.
- Forklift experience required.
- Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn new skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to safety and detail.
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
- Ability to lift, carry, and move materials throughout the shift.
- Comfortable working in a manufacturing or shop environment.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in the conveyor belt industry is a plus.
- Basic fabrication experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
Responsibilities
- Assist with daily shop and warehouse operations.
- Support fabrication activities involving conveyor belts and lacing.
- Operate forklifts to move materials, products, and equipment throughout the facility.
- Load, unload, and organize inventory and materials.
- Prepare materials for production and fabrication processes.
- Assist production and shop personnel with project-related tasks.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
- Perform general labor and support duties as assigned.
