About The Position

The Production Coordinator is responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of production processes within the organization. This role involves coordinating various aspects of production, including scheduling, resource allocation, and communication between different departments, to ensure timely delivery of products and services. The Production Coordinator plays a crucial role in maintaining high standards of quality and productivity, while also supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a production coordination or similar role within a manufacturing or production environment.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing production schedules and coordinating with various departments to ensure timely completion of projects.
  • Experience in handling multiple projects simultaneously and prioritizing tasks effectively.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects efficiently.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact effectively with team members, vendors, and clients.
  • Proficiency in using production management software and tools, such as ERP systems, to track and manage production processes.
  • Ability to analyze production data and generate reports to support decision-making processes.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to quickly adapt to changing production needs and priorities.
  • Detail-oriented with a keen eye for quality and accuracy in production processes.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and foster positive working relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate production schedules and ensure that all necessary resources are available to meet production targets.
  • Communicate effectively with different departments, including procurement, logistics, and quality assurance, to ensure alignment and resolve any production-related issues.
  • Monitor production processes and workflows to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to enhance efficiency and productivity.
  • Maintain accurate records of production activities, including inventory levels, production output, and equipment maintenance.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of production policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Support the production team in troubleshooting and resolving operational issues as they arise.
  • Collaborate with management to develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for production operations.
  • Participate in regular production meetings to review progress, address challenges, and plan for future production needs.
  • Ensure that all safety protocols and guidelines are followed to maintain a safe working environment for all production staff.
