About The Position

Transteck, Inc. has an immediate opening for a 2nd shift Shop Foreman at their Freightliner of New Stanton location. The position is directly responsible for supervising, motivating, and assisting technical staff. Essential job functions include billing out work performed on Repair Orders, dispatching work to technicians, monitoring shop productivity, follow-up with work progress, and coordinating parts orders with the parts department. The facilities are kept clean, and the pace is fast, aiming to provide the best service to customers. Transteck, Inc. is one of the largest Truck dealers in the North East with 14 locations and 4 body shops, employing over 200 trained technicians and maintaining over $7,000,000 in parts inventory. Requirements

Experience in working in an Automobile or Truck Service Center in a supervisory role
Be able to work 1st or 2nd shift as required
Have some experience as a mechanic
Have excellent communication and supervisory skills
Familiarity with computers
Must pass background & criminal records check, physical exam and drug screen
