About The Position

Emerling Ford is seeking an experienced and driven Shop Foreman to oversee daily operations in their service department. This role is ideal for a seasoned Ford Senior Master Technician or an experienced Shop Foreman ready to take charge of shop flow, technician development, and quality control. The successful candidate will be the key link between advisors, technicians, and leadership, ensuring the shop runs efficiently, safely, and at a high standard of performance. Requirements

Strong diagnostic, troubleshooting, and leadership skills
Ability to guide, mentor, and motivate a team of technicians
Excellent communication and conflict resolution abilities
Highly organized with a track record of delivering results
Respected by peers and committed to a high-performance shop culture
Familiar with Ford diagnostic platforms and OEM repair standards
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required

Nice To Haves

Current Shop Foreman or Ford Senior Master Technician status preferred

Responsibilities

Manage shop dispatch and workflow to optimize efficiency and technician productivity
Oversee and support diagnostic strategies and advanced repair procedures
Serve as a liaison between the service advisors, technicians, and management team
Monitor repair quality and lead efforts to minimize comebacks
Provide ongoing coaching to technicians with a focus on accuracy and efficiency
Train and mentor apprentice, B-level, and A-level techs
Uphold and enforce safety standards and maintain a clean, professional work environment
Champion a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement
