About The Position

The Shop Foreman will oversee plant 51 operations by scheduling deliveries and managing fabrications to ensure high-quality and accurate products and outcomes. This role supervises employees, guiding them on equipment use and safety practices, maintaining shop organization and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. The Shop Foreman will work collaboratively with the Shop Leadership and Project Management teams.

  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Leadership and hands-on manufacturing and/or field experience
  • A detailed-oriented person who demonstrates strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational, time management, and critical thinking skills.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and schedule deliveries with Project Managers and Shop Manager.
  • Utilize team and equipment to effectively get projects complete.
  • Supervise and direct employees to ensure expectations are clearly communicated on items needed.
  • Manage Muza Marketplace ordering system, making modifications and adjustments as necessary.
  • Monitor and approve weekly timesheets for field and shop employees.
  • Train and guide on proper use of shop equipment and procedures, software programs, proper methods, and safety protocols.
  • Train and guide on proper use of shop equipment and practices, proper methods, and safety protocols.
  • Supervise all fabrications to ensure Muza quality and accuracy.
  • Communicate with Shop Manager when orders are complete.
  • Advise Shop Manager of repairs required to equipment/machinery.
  • Maintain organization and quality of buildings, grounds, shop, and tools.
  • Inspect safety equipment and ensure all safety rules are being adhered to.
  • Supervise Apprentice program and proper training.
  • Cross-trained to assist when team members are on vacation or sick.
  • Perform other duties as assigned in order to keep up with company needs.
