About The Position
We are a full-service truck and equipment repair facility specializing in diesel trucks, trailers, and heavy equipment. Our shop supports a mix of fleet customers and independent operators, and we’re committed to fast turnaround times, quality workmanship, and a safe, team-oriented environment.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in diesel truck and/or heavy equipment repair
- Strong knowledge of diesel engines, emissions systems (DPF/DEF), hydraulics, and electrical diagnostics
- Ability to read diagnostic software and service manuals
- Strong organizational and communication skills
Nice To Haves
- Previous leadership or foreman experience preferred
- CDL preferred but not required
- Fleet maintenance environments
- Class 6–8 trucks and trailers
- Construction or agricultural equipment
- Welding/fabrication skills (a plus)
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations of the shop and coordinate technician workload
- Assign and prioritize repair orders for trucks, trailers, and equipment
- Assist with advanced diagnostics (diesel engines, electrical, aftertreatment, hydraulics)
- Ensure jobs are completed accurately, on time, and within budget
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized shop environment
- Enforce safety procedures and regulatory compliance
- Communicate with service advisors and customers on job status and approvals
- Order parts
- Train, mentor, and support technicians to improve productivity
- Step in on repairs as needed to keep workflow moving
