About The Position

We are hiring a Service Operations Coordinator, also known as a Shop Flow Manager, for a high-volume service department at Crain Kia of Fayetteville. This is not a traditional service advisor role. The ideal candidate will be responsible for controlling the flow of a fast-moving shop, managing multiple jobs simultaneously, and ensuring that no tasks are missed or delayed. Experience in dispatch, logistics, fleet maintenance, manufacturing scheduling, or a high-volume service environment is relevant for this position.

Requirements

Experience in logistics / dispatch (trucking, delivery, operations)
Experience in fleet or diesel maintenance shops
Experience in manufacturing or production scheduling
Experience in aviation maintenance coordination
Experience in high-volume service or collision centers
Ability to naturally organize chaos and prioritize under pressure
Ability to track multiple moving pieces without losing control
Ability to follow up relentlessly without being asked
Ability to take ownership when things fall behind and fix it
Ability to communicate clearly and directly with a team

Responsibilities

Dispatch and prioritize repair orders based on technician skill and workload
Track the status of every vehicle in the shop
Follow up with technicians in real time
Identify bottlenecks and solve them before they become problems
Coordinate with parts, advisors, and management to keep workflow efficient
Ensure work is completed in the right order, at the right time, by the right person
Hold the standard on urgency, communication, and execution
