About The Position

Every simulator we build leaves the shop in a crate or on a skid. This role gets it there. You will assemble crates from pre-built panels, pack and secure simulators for shipment, prepare skids for our desktop and smaller products, and build and take down the metal display frames that hold our screens. No prior experience is required. If you are comfortable with power tools and careful with your work, we will train you on the rest — crate and skid construction standards, packing procedures, display frame assembly, and forklift certification, paid and on the job.

Requirements

  • Comfortable using hand and power tools (drill/driver, impact driver, screw gun, staple gun)
  • Able to follow written and verbal work instructions and read simple assembly drawings
  • Careful and methodical — our simulators are expensive and travel a long way
  • Reliable, punctual, and a good teammate
  • High school diploma or equivalent

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in a shop, warehouse, packaging, or crating environment
  • Valid forklift permit is an asset — we certify in-house if you don’t have one
  • Experience assembling bolted metal structures

Responsibilities

  • Assemble shipping crates from pre-built panels — base, sides, lid, and internal bracing
  • Pack and secure simulators inside crates: blocking, bracing, strapping, and protective materials
  • Pack desktop simulators and smaller products on skids
  • Label and close crates and verify contents against the packing list
  • Move finished crates and skids to the shipping area using a pallet jack, and a forklift once certified
  • Assemble prefabricated metal display frames — bolting and screwing sections together per the assembly instructions
  • Install mounting hardware on the TVs and mount the TVs on the frames
  • Take the frames and TVs apart for packing, keeping hardware sorted, bagged, and labelled for clean reassembly at the customer site
  • Keep packaging materials stocked and the crating area clean and organized
  • Report damaged materials, missing hardware, or shortages to the Production Supervisor
  • Other related packing and shop tasks as assigned
