About The Position

Aquatech is seeking a full-time Assembler for its Canonsburg, PA, location. The Assembler will be responsible for performing various assembly duties in a manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong awareness of workplace safety, basic knowledge of tools and equipment, a team-oriented attitude, and customer service focus. Experience in hands-on manufacturing, particularly in an industrial setting, is preferred. This role is considered a Non-Exempt position.

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED.
Two (2) or more years of experience working in a mechanical and industrial environment.
Ability to read mechanical drawings (knowledge of piping is a plus).
Strong math skills (working with fractions and metrics).
Attention to detail (work demands high tolerances, fit, and finish).
Ability to problem-solve (interpreting drawings and spatial relationships).
Ability to follow directions with minimal supervision.
Mechanical aptitude in an industrial work environment.

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of piping.
Welding experience.
Electrical experience.

Responsibilities

Perform assembly duties according to mechanical drawings.
Utilize power tools such as drills, presses, band saws, cut-off saws, and pipe threaders.
Use measuring tools including tape measures, spirit levels, and plumb bobs.
Employ hand tools such as wrenches, ratchets, pliers, and screwdrivers.
Maintain a positive attitude and communicate effectively with team members.
Demonstrate strong organizational skills.
Apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions.
Ensure workplace safety and report potential hazards.
Attend monthly safety meetings.
Notify manager of workplace injuries within 24 hours and follow appropriate procedures.
Perform other duties as assigned.
