About The Position

4Rivers Equipment is seeking highly skilled, self-motivated, and efficient Service Technicians for full-time positions at their Hobbs, NM location. The role involves performing maintenance, repairs, and diagnostics on all types of heavy equipment, including engine rebuilds, axle reconditions, hydraulic valve and pump work, and transmission repairs. Technicians will be responsible for removing, disassembling, cleaning, repairing, reconditioning, and assembling components or parts. They will also maintain detailed records of equipment information and repairs, mentor other technicians, and attend company-sponsored training to enhance their skills. Maintaining service trucks and company assets, prioritizing safety, and embodying the company's standards and values are also key aspects of the role. Requirements

High School diploma or GED
Vocation or technical degree, or equivalent work experience or training
Strong communication skills
Self-motivated spirit
Regular and predictable attendance and punctuality is vital. Must attend work regularly and arrive at work on time.

Responsibilities

Perform maintenance, repairs, and diagnostics on all types of heavy equipment.
Engine rebuilds, axle reconditions, hydraulic valves and pump wizardry, and transmission repairs.
Remove, disassemble, clean, repair, recondition, assemble components or parts.
Keep meticulous records of equipment hours, serial numbers, complaints, causes, and corrections.
Be a mentor and guide for other technicians and apprentice technicians.
Attend company sponsored training to level up your skills, knowledge, and expertise.
Keep our service trucks and all company assets in top-notch shape.
