Requirements
- Previous experience in a manufacturing environment; two years’ experience preferred.
- Ability to operate equipment in a safe and controlled manner.
- Ability to stand for long shifts
- Previous forklift experience preferred. Willingness to train on equipment such as forklifts and electric pallet jacks.
- Basic hand dexterity and attention to detail
- Ability to lift, push/pull up to 50lbs, stack/unstack, or carry.
- Comfortable in a non-climate-controlled manufacturing environment
- Ability to communicate effectively
Responsibilities
- Load/unload materials safely and efficiently.
- Operate shrink-wrap or plastic-wrapping machines.
- Securing pallets and products for shipment.
- Inspect wrapped goods for tears or loose seals.
- Replenishment processing
- Responsible for accurately loading and unloading trailers. Check load contents for accuracy and secure materials.
- Count and check products for accuracy and quality.
- Operate material handling equipment, including pallet jack, forklift, etc
- Troubleshoot issues with packing equipment, wrapper machine, label machines, tapers, palletizers, etc
- Perform daily inspections on the forklift.
