Requirements

  • Previous experience in a manufacturing environment; two years’ experience preferred.
  • Ability to operate equipment in a safe and controlled manner.
  • Ability to stand for long shifts
  • Previous forklift experience preferred. Willingness to train on equipment such as forklifts and electric pallet jacks.
  • Basic hand dexterity and attention to detail
  • Ability to lift, push/pull up to 50lbs, stack/unstack, or carry.
  • Comfortable in a non-climate-controlled manufacturing environment
  • Ability to communicate effectively

Responsibilities

  • Load/unload materials safely and efficiently.
  • Operate shrink-wrap or plastic-wrapping machines.
  • Securing pallets and products for shipment.
  • Inspect wrapped goods for tears or loose seals.
  • Replenishment processing
  • Responsible for accurately loading and unloading trailers. Check load contents for accuracy and secure materials.
  • Count and check products for accuracy and quality.
  • Operate material handling equipment, including pallet jack, forklift, etc
  • Troubleshoot issues with packing equipment, wrapper machine, label machines, tapers, palletizers, etc
  • Perform daily inspections on the forklift.
