About The Position

Martin Sprocket & Gear is hiring a Shipping/Warehouse Associate to locate, verify, pack, and prepare machined products for shipment. The role operates powered narrow-aisle pickers, handles products safely, maintains a clean and organized work area, and supports other departments as needed. The position requires daily attendance at the branch and working the scheduled second shift in a non-climate-controlled environment. Requirements

Proficiency in basic math and clear communication.
Ability to read and understand instructions in English and complete simple logs and reports.
Ability to lift, push, pull, and position items up to 50 pounds; assistance is provided for heavier loads.
Reliable attendance and commitment to scheduled hours, timekeeping, and company procedures.
Ability to stand and work for the entire shift in a non-climate-controlled environment.
Strong teamwork skills and ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with colleagues.
Attention to detail and ability to determine correct shelf locations based on routing tickets.

Responsibilities

Accurately locate and select products from warehouse shelves or floor locations according to labeling or stamping guidelines.
Verify picked and packed items against order requirements.
Pick, pack, box, label, and secure machined products for shipment.
Safely operate powered narrow-aisle pickers to retrieve products from various shelf heights.
Use safe lifting techniques and seek assistance for items over 50 pounds.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area and follow equipment safety protocols.
Collaborate with other departments and assist in different areas as needed.
Report daily to the branch and perform the essential duties satisfactorily.
