2nd Shift Warehouse Shipping/Utility
About The Position
John F. Martin & Sons, LLC is hiring a Warehouse Shipping/Utility employee for its Womelsdorf, Pennsylvania location. This is a second-shift position, Monday through Friday, from 3:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. The role involves working in a fast-paced refrigerated warehouse, picking customer orders and replenishment, operating warehouse equipment, loading and unloading trailers, and handling shipping paperwork and scanning. Candidates must be capable of frequently lifting 50 pounds. The position is safety-sensitive and requires use of warehouse equipment; job offers are contingent on passing a pre-employment physical and drug screening. Starting pay is $20.00 per hour, based on experience, plus a 7% shift differential. Benefits are available after 60 days.
Requirements
- Be capable of working in a fast-paced refrigerated warehouse environment.
- Be capable of frequently lifting 50 pounds.
- Have basic computer skills.
- Pass a pre-employment physical and drug screening.
Responsibilities
- Pick customer orders and replenishment.
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks.
- Load and unload trailers.
- Complete inbound and outbound paperwork.
- Use an RF scanner and perform basic computer tasks.
- Perform the role's physical duties, including standing, walking, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and operating equipment as needed.
