About The Position

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum of 3 years of experience in shipping, logistics, or warehouse management, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
Leadership, organization, communication, shipping software proficiency, Microsoft Office Suite expertise.
Comprehensive understanding of shipping regulations, carrier specifications, and inventory management systems.
Meticulous attention to detail, analytical problem-solving abilities, capacity to perform effectively under pressure, and dedication to ongoing improvement.

Nice To Haves

A degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field is preferred.

Responsibilities

Manage and oversee the shipping team, including responsibilities such as training, scheduling, and performance assessment.
Supervise the preparation and dispatch of shipments, guaranteeing accuracy and efficiency.
Monitor inventory levels diligently and collaborate with the warehouse personnel to ensure sufficient stock availability for shipment.
Ensure all shipping activities adhere to company policies, safety regulations, and legal requirements.
Keep detailed records of shipments, including tracking info, invoices, and shipping documents.
Resolve shipping issues and inquiries from customers and internal teams.
Identify opportunities for improving shipping processes and apply best practices to enhance efficiency.
Produce shipping reports and analyze them to assess performance and identify improvement areas.
Engage in close cooperation with various departments, including sales, customer service, and warehouse, to ensure smooth operational processes.
