Requirements

High School Diploma or GED required
5 years experience in a low volume / high volume mix warehouse
Two (2) years experience managing direct reports

Responsibilities

Enforce safety standards, policies, practices, visual aids, and procedures within your area of responsibility to ensure safety remains top priority of team
Manage associates to ensure safety and service objectives are met while ensuring cost and asset utilization are met
Manage tasks within warehouse management system to ensure orders are shipped correctly throughout the day
Establish root cause for process deviations to ensure highest level of customer satisfaction
Communicate to associates and management through visual aids and daily team status meetings to ensure clarity from top to bottom of organization
Implement for all improve initiatives in order to improve safety, quality, delivery, and cost
Recommend revisions to standard operating procedures and standardized work based on improvements and changes in the business
Ensure company equipment is utilized and functioning properly to reduce safety risks
Ensure new associates are trained to standard work and understand all company policies
Implement visual aids with the distribution center in compliance with company policy
Comply with health and safety guidelines and rules; managers should also ensure compliance across their teams.
Protect Chamberlain Group’s and Systems’ reputation by keeping information confidential.
Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reading professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies.
Contribute to the team effort by accomplishing related results and participating on projects as needed.
Motivate and lead a high performance team by attracting, developing, engaging and retaining team members
Drive the performance management and compensation processes by communicating job expectations, monitoring and evaluating performance, providing feedback and facilitating employee development per the company’s policies
Maintain transparent communication by appropriately communicating organization information to team through department meetings, one-on-one meetings, appropriate email, IM and regular interpersonal communications
Lead and motivate individuals and teams to create a workplace culture that is consistent with the CG mission, vision and values.
