About The Position

Midland Garage Door, a leader in the garage door industry for over 45 years, is seeking an experienced Shipping Supervisor to lead their team. This role is crucial for guiding the team towards success in meeting production schedules and ensuring efficient shipping operations.

Requirements

Ability to schedule production to meet established lead times.
Knowledge of what and when to prioritize.
Ability to eliminate back orders.
Ability to prepare truck paperwork.
Ability to set up trailers to ensure the proper product is going into the correct trailer.
Ability to pre-pull all necessary products for each truck.
Ability to ensure all sections get pre-counted and recorded for location.
Ability to communicate with Department Heads and Plant Manager on timelines.
Knowledge of how to load trailers based on customer and order to avoid damage to product.
Knowledge of all products.
Ability to communicate with office personnel when paperwork is complete.
Ability to ensure post paperwork is complete and handed off to designated recipients.
Ability to complete final checks of trucks to ensure no mistakes.
Ability to interact with office members and production teams as needed.

High School diploma or GED required.
1 year of people leading experience.
